This has been my family's favorite meal at Truffles since their opening years ago. It's always the best cut of meat. The typical sides of mashed potatoes and greens make it a well-balanced meal. Very consistent and tasteful.

Tuna Wonton*

I get the tuna wonton dish every time I come on vacation because it's so good! The tuna is tender and the chips always crispy. The drizzle is the best part. I usually get it as my main and my family always ends up splitting it with me.

Jumbo Lump Crab Cake

First off let's start off by saying the atmosphere is amazing. So cozy with that right at home feeling. Simply beautiful! I had the pleasure of having the crab cake dinner with the wasabi mayonnaise with crispy fries and kale slaw. The food was amazing beautiful plating fresh and delicious. Not to mention the staff was great. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Fried Coconut Shrimp

These shrimp are absolutely delish! Very flaky and they were cooked perfectly - delicious local shrimp that I cannot wait to eat again. Also, the dipping sauce was absolutely delicious with the coconut flakes.

Baby Back Ribs

While all the meal choices are delicious, my most favorite is the baby back ribs with sweet potato fries. It's the celebration of anything dinner of choice.

Grilled Shrimp Skewers

My absolute favorite dish is no longer on the menu, but can be ordered if you ask. The Shrimp with Pesto (not the creamed pesto) over linguini is the best version of this dish I have ever had anywhere. The pesto is inviting and full of pine nuts and garlic. An explosion of savory flavors! The shrimp are typically large, perfectly cooked and you get get between 6 & 8. The fragrance of the dish is most appetizing and once you taste it, you will be sold! I highly recommend this dish and I ask Price to please add this back on the menu! "Permanently" Bona Petito

Portobello Mushroom

Ladies Lunch - Privately A group of friends from our resort go to lunch twice a month at a local restaurant. Since Covid, we have been eating al fresco. However, since the temperatures are falling, we needed to eat inside. Truffles, Bluffton, was the venue for lunch. This cafe is located in a popular shopping area with a number of retail shops, grocery stores, medical offices and other services. When our coordinator called for a reservation, she was offered a private room: a thoughtful gesture. We were seated immediately in a private room with a square table. Although there were only six of us, we were spaced comfortably and could see each other without straining our necks to talk to each other. In other venues, we have been seated at a long table where it is difficult to talk to someone seated at the very end. Our waiter introduced himself (I did not get his name). We placed our drinks order right away. Most ordered water with lemon or Coke; others ordered tea with honey which came in a little cup. The tea drinkers were presented with a box from which to select their choice. The restaurant is Covid compliant. Our hostess was masked as was our server. Single-use menus are used; there is an effort to conserve the number of menus at the table; however, it was not a problem to request a menu for each of us. I was happy to see cloth napkins placed on the bread and butter plate and a cloth tablecloth. Shortly after our drinks were served, our server brought a basket of warm bread (enough for one piece per person) and a tasty garlic-y butter. It was delicious. We placed our orders; separate checks was not a problem. Our server was knowledgeable and answered honestly about the new "Chicken Bowl" which he had not tried but had heard positive comments. We continued to catch up with each other; after a while, the wait became noticeable. The restaurant was not busy. Our waiter checked in occasionally to ask if we needed anything. Finally, our coordinator said: "Yes, our food!" He went to check. We had waited over 45 minutes. The food? Delicious. The "Grilled Pimento Cheese & Tomato Dill Soup" is a favorite and was praised by one of our party. Another friend ordered the "Mini Pot Pie" (tender breast meat, carrots, mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, broccoli and peas, white wine cream sauce, topped with puff pastry, small caesar salad); "Chicken Bowl," a substantial combination of (grilled chicken breast, Greek salsa consisting of grape tomatoes, capers, feta cheese, kalamata & castelvetrano olives, fresh basil, garlic and olive oil, basmati rice, and mixed greens; "Portobello Mushroom Sandwich," (marinated, grilled and sliced, basil marinated roasted tomatoes, warm brie, fresh spinach, red onion, pesto mayonnaise). While the food and atmosphere was delicious and perfect for our group, I would suggest a shorter wait time for the food. Despite the noon hour, the restaurant was not busy. We had to ask our server to check on the status of our orders. I would return but realize that your wait time may be significant.
